Wow I love how this is all nothing but ink. You created all sorts of values with just black, very impressive. This illustration feels very complete: well rendered background, distinctive subject, and giving that subject purpose within the drawing. I like his expression and the way he's looking off into the distance as though waiting for something. The only thing that seems off is his left forearm. It should really be longer since it's coming towards the viewer
